Pacific
Oleochemicals, formerly known as Akzo Nobel
Oleochemicals, started its production of wide range of
fatty acids and glycerine in 1982. Pacific Oleochemical
products are all derived from natural renewable
vegetable raw materials, mainly from palm oil and palm
kernel oil.
Their production plant in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia has
secured OHSAS 18001 certification for Occupational
Safety and Health together with their ISO 9001 and ISO
14001. They are also Halal and Kosher certified.
Their product line consists of:
- Distilled fatty acids
- for soaps, detergents, nitrogen
derivatives, alkyd resins
- Fractioned fatty acids
- for ester production, lubricants,
peroxides, stabilizers, cosmetics, flavor and
fragrances, detergents and alkyd resins
